What is Breathwork❓
Breathwork means intentionally changing our breathing pattern, using a specific breathing technique to consciously breathe to reach a desired outcome.
Different styles can impact the nervous system in various ways. (downregulate/upregulate)
Breathwork can be facilitated, both, in person and Online.
What is the Conscious Connected Breath?
Through the CCB, we focus on a circular breathing pattern, meaning to focus on an active inhale, followed by a relaxed exhale.
The inhales and exhales are connected, meaning there is no pause between inhales or exhales. This creates a circular breathing pattern. Inhale & exhales can be done through either the nostrils or mouth.🔵
Is it safe?🫁
Although Breathwork is a safe practice, if you experience conditions like asthma, cardiovascular issues, heart issues, epilepsy, or psychiatric disorders, please check with your GP first.
Please never practice breathwork in/around water by yourself.

Breathwork and ADHD:🤯
Breathwork provides the opportunity to help you relax deeply, giving the overthinking and overwhelmed mind a much-needed break.
From personal experience, I noticed a massive improvement regarding procrastination and focus, and I rarely experienced executive dysfunction anymore.
Breathwork allows you to drop out of your head and into your body which is an underestimated but important experience when having ADHD.
My journey with Breathwork, started in 2021 after my friend suggested to me to join an online breathwork session. I was mind-blown by the profound effects it had on me. Every single breathwork session felt different but one thing it always had in common:
I felt better, experienced more clarity, and felt deep calm and contentment within myself.
My sleep and general well-being improved, too.🌿Now I am officially a certified Journey The Breath- Facilitator with 250+ training hours under my belt.🤓
I craved to understand breathwork better. Since I am also freediving regularly, I am no stranger to breathwork or different breathwork techniques. I wanted to learn more about the Conscious Connected Breath and learn how to facilitate it.
My mission is to use different modalities within my work to help others & also enhance my personal wellbeing. I enjoy freediving and holding my breath for as long as I can, so I hoped to dive deeper and learn more about breathwork.
Joining Pat Divilly’s “Journey the Breath” allowed me to learn more in-depth and learn how to hold space for others differently and more compassionately. It also had a lot of personal benefits; it enhanced my awareness and self-development journey, and it helped me improve my relaxation techniques to improve my freediving training. And I took away other profound experiences and friendships thanks to the training.
For 6 months, in 2024, I joined and completed Pat Divilly’s “Journey the Breath” facilitator training consisting of 250+ hours of learning and practicing, which I was successfully certified for. Now, I am currently facilitating breathwork in Cork (city) on a regular basis.
